So I've seen other people with blogs and thought it would be fun to have a family blog for the Starkey's. If you know our family, then you know that we come from Arizona, Colorado, Kansas and Texas mostly. And if you are a part of our family, you know that distance makes no difference to us, as we stay in touch by emails, cell phone calls, Skype web cam calls and occasionally actually get to travel to see one another.
You also know that if you are somehow related to Bob and Lena Starkey, or their nutty kids - Gary, Bobbie, Sandra, Pam or Stan - then you too are a Starkey! And whether you were born into this family, or married in to it, you know that you are blessed to have such a loving family that has a blast together. Memories built on pickles, chicken wings, the chicken dance, earwaxing, moving outhouses, family reunions, talent shows --- these are just a few of the things what make the Starkeys a special family.
So, if you wish to add to the blog, I will send you the sign on and password and you can post things for the rest of the family to see. You can type a blog, add a picture, add video, send a special message out to the family.....but in order to read them you have to sign on periodically and see what's new. If you add a blog, please be sure to sign your name so we know who posted it. If you want to add a blog or picture, but think it would be easier for you to just email it me, then send it my way and I will post it.
I'm hoping that this will be a fun way for us to enjoy 2009 together!
